Battlefield 6 and 8 join Xbox Game Pass action
The gaming world is buzzing with fresh content, and for subscribers, the excitement doesn’t stop there. As we kick off the month, another wave of highly anticipated titles is set to flood subscription services, bringing fresh experiences to Game Pass and beyond.
The excitement is particularly palpable surrounding major releases. Battlefield 6, which made a strong debut last year, is now joining the fold, marking its first appearance on subscription platforms like Game Pass. Publishers like EA and Ubisoft are clearly committed to supporting both Microsoft and Sony’s ecosystem, suggesting that titles like this will likely soon find their way to PlayStation Plus Extra as well.
This latest expansion means more games are waiting in the digital queue. Between now and mid-October, nine new titles are slated to join the Game Pass library, offering a diverse mix of platforms and experiences. Get ready for some serious gaming:
The incoming lineup includes titles like Echo Weaver, Forever Ago, and the highly anticipated Neon Abyss 2, all hitting the service on or around October 8th and 13th, available across Cloud, XBOX Series X|S, and PC platforms. Furthermore, action fans can look forward to new entries such as Battlefield 6, Deep Dish Dungeon, Valor Mortis, and charming additions like Bluey’s Happy Snaps and Chained Beasts.
The schedule is packed, with releases stretching through the end of the month, including Beyond These Stars on October 16th, ensuring there is something new for every gamer.
Not all games are staying put, however. As the month progresses, a handful of titles will be exiting the Game Pass catalog. This includes some large-scale games such as Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 and A Plague Tale Requiem, alongside smaller, beloved titles like Evil West, Crime Scene Cleaner, Donut County, Superball, and The Casting of Frank Stone.
It’s a dynamic environment, where new adventures arrive constantly, and old favorites make room for new ones. Whether you’re diving into the latest military action or exploring unique indie gems, the Game Pass library promises an endless supply of quality gaming experiences.
