Dygma Sonsei travel keyboard setup for your laptop
The journey into the world of ergonomic and portable keyboards often begins with a deep appreciation for innovative design. For many, this appreciation stems from a long-standing relationship with a specific brand, and Dygma’s keyboard line has certainly captured a dedicated following since their original Raise model was introduced.
For one enthusiast, this loyalty spans more than five years. Having relied on a Dygma Raise or Raise 2 for daily typing, they were well-positioned to try a new contender when the opportunity arose to explore the Sonsei.
The Sonsei immediately stood out. It wasn’t just another piece of hardware; it was a uniquely portable, columnar keyboard that introduced a new dimension to the concept of typing. It surprised the user with its design and functionality.
While the experience of using the Sonsei involved a significant learning curve—as with any novel technology—the overall feeling is one of genuine satisfaction. Despite the initial challenges of mastering the layout, the reviewer ultimately concluded that they truly love this little keyboard.
