Galaxy75 arrives with aluminum case and 8000mAh power

Epomaker unveils the Galaxy75, expanding its popular keyboard series with a 75% configuration. This new model has officially landed on Epomaker’s store and promises to deliver premium features and a satisfying acoustic experience.

The Galaxy75 is positioned strategically within Epomaker’s lineup, sitting perfectly between the Galaxy80 and the Galaxy70. Revealed during a recent livestream, this keyboard immediately captures attention by blending high-end craftsmanship with thoughtful layout design.

Beyond its physical dimensions, the Galaxy75 is built for sound and durability. It features an aluminium chassis, expertly constructed with a gasket-mounted structure, offering a solid and premium feel. Inside, the keyboard utilizes a polycarbonate switch plate layered with five layers of sound-dampening foam, a combination Epomaker claims results in a truly desirable “dense thock” acoustic profile.

The layout itself is classic yet refined, adhering to a traditional 75% design philosophy, complete with an F13 key and a dedicated four-key navigation column positioned on the right edge. This structure provides ample typing real estate without sacrificing necessary navigation.

For those who appreciate customization, the Galaxy75 offers a diverse aesthetic. It is available in striking finishes—sparkling black, lavender, or pink—each complemented by matching Cherry profile keycaps. The black iteration sports black-and-orange dye-sublimated PBT keycaps adorned with cityscape artwork, while the lavender and pink models utilize solid dye-sublimated PBT with accent keycaps for a unique visual flair.

Connectivity is equally robust. The board supports both wireless convenience via Bluetooth and a fast 2.4GHz connection, powered by an internal 8000mAh battery. For wired users, a USB Type-C port ensures reliable data transfer and charging. Furthermore, the keyboard is fully programmable with south-facing per-key RGB lighting and boasts full compatibility with both the open-source VIA interface and Epomaker’s web-based Hub driver.

When paired with Epomaker’s Creamy Jade linear switches, the Galaxy75 offers a cohesive and tactile experience. While pricing details are yet to be officially released, the model reinforces the reputation of the Galaxy series for offering full metal builds at accessible prices, setting a high bar for mechanical keyboard enthusiasts.
