Game Pass adds FF7 Remake and Plants vs Zombies

Game Pass subscribers are in for a treat, as the service is gearing up for a major content drop, headlined by one of gaming’s most beloved franchises. The massive Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade is set to arrive on October 29th across cloud, console, and PC platforms, promising an epic adventure for subscribers.

While the big RPG takes center stage, the update is far from a single blockbuster. It brings a delightful mix of new releases, including the refreshing HD version of a classic strategy title, Plants vs. Zombies: Replanted, also launching on the same day. This addition rounds out the slate of new content that Game Pass is delivering.

Beyond these major releases, the platform continues to offer a curated selection of exciting preview titles and updates. Subscribers can dive into games like Sandustry, a promising game preview, and explore intriguing new experiences such as Dodo Duckie and The Séance of Blake Manor, all available for immediate access.

The extended lineup also features ongoing benefits and updates for popular titles, including deep dives into The Elder Scrolls Online, thrilling action in The Finals, and new armor and content for World of Tanks Modern Armor.

A further selection of games is also making its way to the Game Pass library in the coming weeks, ensuring continuous variety. This includes titles like Scramble Knights Online and Terrible Lizards, along with a deep-dive puzzle experience in Pit of Goblin, set to arrive in early November.

On the flip side, some beloved titles are making room for new content. Several well-known games are set to leave the Game Pass library soon, including Day of the Tentacle Remastered, Dead Static Drive, Deep Rock Galactic, Full Throttle Remastered, and Grim Fandango Remastered. Furthermore, established franchises like Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga and Wartales and Wildgate will also depart.

Marking a shift in the gaming landscape, the massively popular Football Manager 26 and its console edition will also be leaving the service, with their departure scheduled for November 10th.
