Havn adds Flow Solid variant to BF 360

Havn Introduces the Flow Solid Case: Where Understated Design Meets Aggressive Airflow

PC building has long been a battle between raw performance and visual flair, but for many enthusiasts, the case itself is where functionality meets aesthetics. Recently, Japanese distributor ASK unveiled a fresh iteration of the popular Havn BF 360 Flow series: the Flow Solid variant. This new release manages to dial down the flashy transparency while keeping the heart of the cooling system beating just as loudly.

Building upon the highly acclaimed airflow-focused BF 360 lineup launched the previous year, the Flow Solid model offers a distinct visual shift. Where previous versions featured translucent glass side panels, this new iteration opts for an opaque, closed left side panel, lending the entire chassis a more understated and serious aesthetic without compromising thermal performance.

The focus on cooling remains paramount. Havn retains the aggressive three-fan cooling setup, ensuring that internal temperatures stay low no matter how stark the exterior design. Out of the box, the Flow Solid case is pre-equipped with a powerful combination of two 180mm fans alongside a single 140mm fan, ready to pull air through the system.

Beneath this sleek exterior lies a highly functional mid-tower layout featuring a split-compartment design and seven expansion slots, offering ample room for modern components. The design incorporates an intake ramp with a rock-patterned grille positioned at the front to maximize airflow directed toward the graphics card.

Installation flexibility is key. The case utilizes a semi-open frame design, allowing users to easily manage cabling while still benefiting from magnetic front and top panels for easy assembly. Furthermore, Havn has integrated an adjustable GPU support bracket, addressing one of the perennial headaches in custom builds.

In terms of internal capacity, the chassis is robust enough to accommodate demanding hardware. It supports E-ATX motherboards up to 277mm wide, graphics cards stretching up to 410mm in length, CPU coolers reaching 195mm tall, and PSUs up to 200mm long. For those pushing the limits of thermal management, space is also provided for liquid cooling solutions, with room for either a 360mm or 280mm radiator placement along the top panel.

Connectivity is handled efficiently, featuring front I/O that includes a USB-C 10Gbps port and two USB-A 5Gbps ports. The balance between premium visual appeal and high-performance thermal architecture positions the Flow Solid case as a compelling choice for builders who prioritize both style and serious cooling.
