In the chaotic expanse of Helldivers 2, every player dreams of finding a new weapon or piece of equipment to test their skills. Yet, often these coveted items remain locked away, tucked inside exclusive Warbonds, leaving players waiting for the next major unlock.

It’s this feeling of limitation that Arrowhead Game Studios has worked hard to address. They have proven that rewarding dedication through in-game activities can truly open up new avenues for firepower. A perfect example of this philosophy is the M-103 Supply FRV, an offroad truck that is now set to become accessible to all Helldivers.

The Supply FRV isn’t just another vehicle; it’s a piece of tactical evolution. This variant comes equipped with both an automated turret and a supply rack at the rear, allowing for eight full restocks of precious Helldiver ammunition and equipment. It is one of three variants available in the game, each offering a unique tactical advantage: the vanilla FRV sports a machinegun, while the Incinerator FRV swaps that out for a flamethrower.

This powerful vehicle wasn’t just dropped into the game randomly; it was initially earned through participation in the June “Census Thunder” campaign. That campaign saw players battling massive hordes of Illuminate ‘Voteless’ spewing forth from voids across the galaxy, making the FRV a coveted reward for those who dove into the action.

Now, Arrowhead is finally rolling this powerful vehicle out to every Helldivers 2 player—though with a slight delay. Players who earned the FRV during the June campaign will gain access to it in October, ensuring that the rewards follow their commitment.

This decision underscores a broader shift in how the game rewards engagement. Arrowhead recently committed to an overhaul of the game’s objective system, replacing traditional running objectives with dynamic galactic campaigns. This new structure is designed to give players a much broader chance to participate in the shooter’s collective goals.

The current campaign, “Lightning Intercept,” keeps the action high as players aim to destroy an Automaton orbital platform. The developers are clearly focused on expanding the lore and gameplay experience through these dynamic missions, keeping the excitement flowing between major updates.

Looking ahead, anticipation is building for further content. One of the exciting future reveals planned by Arrowhead is a Warhammer 40,000 themed Warbond, set to be unveiled on July 30th—a crossover that fans have been eagerly awaiting.
