HP Save $2200 on Ryzen 7 9800X3D & RTX 5080 prebuilt for $2799
Finding high-end gaming components—especially those with serious memory or a powerful GPU—is often a frustrating quest, even during major sales events. But sometimes, a deal so good it feels like a cheat code appears. Recently, a remarkable opportunity surfaced at HP, offering a gaming desktop that packs some serious firepower at a surprisingly attractive price.
The star of the show is the HP Omen 35L gaming desktop. Instead of paying the full retail price, savvy shoppers can snag this powerhouse for only $2,799.99, a massive drop from the original MSRP of $4,999.99.
What makes this machine so compelling is the caliber of the internal hardware. This desktop is built around the powerful AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D processor, paired with a massive 32GB of fast DDR5-6000 memory and a speedy 2TB SSD. Crucially, it is also equipped with the Nvidia GeForce RTX 5080 graphics card.
For those interested in the graphics component alone, the value is staggering. The RTX 5080 typically commands a price between $1,600 and $2,000 on its own. By bundling this into a complete, premium system, HP makes an incredibly smart proposition.
Beyond the visual horsepower, this system is engineered for performance and longevity. It features a robust 1,000-watt, fully modular, 80-Plus Gold power supply, ensuring clean and efficient energy delivery. The system also boasts Wi-Fi 7 connectivity and includes a 240 mm All-in-One (AIO) cooler to keep the CPU running cool under heavy load.
While the 35-liter chassis might seem compact, it offers ample space for a large workspace, though it remains perfectly capable of handling intense gaming sessions whether placed on a desk or the floor.
HP often relies on standardized parts, which is a welcome feature for users looking to plan future upgrades down the line without major bottlenecks. Whether you are chasing high refresh rates at 1440p or aiming for the highest quality 4K visuals, this Omen 35L system is built to deliver seriously impressive results. It truly is a system built for the job.
