I turned GTA 5 into a Rick and Morty replica

For some digital explorers, the quest for perfection isn’t about chasing cinematic brilliance; it’s about shattering reality. This is the story of a modder who decided that the meticulously crafted world of Grand Theft Auto 5 wasn’t enough—it needed an injection of pure, unadulterated, chaotic absurdity.

The experiment began in the digital realm, driven by the goal of transforming the familiar streets of Los Santos into something entirely new. The objective? To either complete the transformation into a PC version of GTA 6 or to simply break the boundaries of the game itself.

Instead of simply tweaking car models or missions, the modder dove into a completely different narrative landscape. By installing custom scripts, they brought the anarchic spirit of Rick, Two Crows, and Morty into the heart of Grand Theft Auto 5.

The results were immediate and wonderfully insane. Suddenly, the simulation was infused with elements from the animated chaos: guns became lasers and light rings, vehicles transformed into flying saucers, and poké balls were weaponized devices capable of generating black holes. The familiar environment of Los Santos was now governed by a new, wilder rhythm.

The character of Trevor, alongside Smack F7, became a figure steeped in mad science, bedecked in a lab coat and a filthy t-shirt, immersed in ambient chaos—natural disasters and vanished exterior cells were now part of the daily scenery.

This is basically a précis of my entire GTA experience.

As the world proceeded without the modder, the narrative took a sudden, startling turn. While tossing black hole poké balls at unsuspecting targets, a notification appeared, announcing that The American People have been wiped out. The chaos, once confined to the game world, suddenly spilled into a profound, existential dread.

The experience continued to escalate. A flight of furries was consumed by a tornado, and even the bodyguard, magnetically drawn to the resulting black hole mess at a local drinking hole, found himself inexplicably stuck to a wall. It was a perfect encapsulation of the wild, unpredictable energy that emerges when you push boundaries in the digital sandbox.
