Nvidia rolls out faster DLSS 5 before RTX Spark

As the RTX Spark laptop line prepares for launch on October 16th, NVIDIA is not just delivering hardware; they are rolling out a spectacular software upgrade designed to redefine visual performance. The focus is squarely on the next generation of upscaling technology, with DLSS 5 arriving to deliver some of the most significant improvements yet.

At the heart of this refresh is the new DLSS 5 model, which introduces a sophisticated 3D-Guided Neural Rendering approach. This isn’t just a marginal bump—it’s a true leap, capable of lifting frame rates by up to 1.4x in titles like NBA 2K27 Season 2 when paired with supported RTX GPUs and the upcoming RTX Spark systems.

The rollout of DLSS 5 integration is broad and exciting, targeting major games and creative platforms. The excitement doesn’t stop there: major titles like Hogwarts Legacy will receive DLSS 5 support on November 5th, and anticipation is high for updates to Where Winds Meet later this month. Furthermore, RTX Remix is slated to gain DLSS 5 support on October 23rd, alongside the introduction of brand new AI-assisted texture-generation tools.

NVIDIA is expanding the ecosystem beyond gaming, enriching the RTX Spark experience with advanced local-AI capabilities. This expansion includes updated local-AI tools, new agent integrations, and fresh optimizations for creative applications. The ecosystem is already buzzing with updates, with improvements already available for Broadcast, ComfyUI, and Adobe Creative Cloud.

To fuel this creative and agent-based movement, NVIDIA is also introducing new models, including the Nemotron 3.5 Bolt models. These are aimed at powering local AI agents and conversational workloads, and they will be available throughout October, allowing users to explore the cutting edge of personalized computing.

The gaming landscape is also benefiting from this acceleration. This week marks the start of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 Campaign Early Access, which is boosted by DLSS 4.5. Other titles, such as Crossout Remastered, also received their DLSS 4.5 updates, and several other games like Gear.Club Unlimited 3, Permafrost, Pax Autocratica, and ARC Raiders have integrated DLSS or enhanced RTX features, ensuring that performance is high across the board.

For ultimate control, NVIDIA has also enhanced the NVIDIA App beta with a new Preset C mode for DLSS Frame Generation, available across the RTX 40 Series, RTX 50 Series, and RTX Spark laptops. It’s clear that NVIDIA is setting a new standard, blending raw graphical power with intelligent, AI-driven efficiency, making the future of PC gaming and creative work not just faster, but fundamentally smarter.
