NZXT launches S5 RGB and S5 RGB Deluxe mid-tower cases

NZXT is making a bold return to the mid-tower market, bringing back its popular S-series with two fresh, compact ATX chassis: the S5 RGB and the S5 RGB Deluxe. These new towers blend premium design with high-performance cooling, offering builders a sleek and efficient platform.

At the heart of the design, both models share a common foundation, utilizing a sturdy steel chassis paired with a striking dual tempered-glass aesthetic. This design choice ensures that internal components are visible while providing robust protection and a modern, minimalist visual appeal.

The S5 RGB sets the standard for this new line. It features a steel frame and tempered glass across the front and left side, while the right-side intake utilizes a robust steel mesh panel for optimal airflow. The case is thoughtfully equipped with practical features, including removable PVC mesh filters at the top and bottom, tool-less panels, and modern front I/O options like USB-C, two USB-A ports, and a dedicated headset jack.

Internally, the S5 RGB offers ample room for components, supporting ATX, Micro-ATX, and Mini-ITX motherboards. It accommodates graphics cards up to 415mm, CPU coolers up to 162mm, and PSUs up to 200mm. With support for up to ten fans and 360mm radiator support on the top, it is ready for serious thermal management.

Where the S5 RGB Deluxe steps up the performance game is through enhanced cooling. While the standard model features a single 360mm RGB reverse fan, the Deluxe version packs extra thermal punch. It comes pre-installed with an additional 120mm RGB reverse fan in the bottom mount and a 120mm RGB fan at the rear, delivering a total of five fans for superior cooling.

Both versions are available in classic all-white or all-black finishes and come with a solid two-year warranty. The entry-level S5 RGB is priced competitively at £49.90 or $49.99, while the more feature-rich S5 RGB Deluxe is priced at £59.90 or $59.99.

With availability expected within the next one to two weeks, the S-series expansion provides builders with a chance to create a high-performance machine that looks as good as it performs.
