Phanteks unveils new Enthoo Server cases
PC case manufacturers are clearly doubling down on a major trend: moving away from pure gaming aesthetics and focusing intensely on the demands of the workstation and server market. This shift is driven by the need for superior airflow, expandability, and robust thermal management, and Phanteks is leading the charge with its newest line of high-end server cases.
Phanteks has officially brought its new Enthoo Server cases to market, offering professionals and enthusiasts uncompromising space and cooling capacity. The lineup includes the powerful Enthoo Pro 2 Server V2 and the versatile Enthoo Elite Server.
At the heart of the line is the Enthoo Pro 2 Server V2, a case engineered for serious heavy lifting. Designed with an all-metal exterior, this model prioritizes thermal performance through extensive mesh, ensuring that high-powered components stay cool under extreme load. Internally, it is built to handle enterprise-level demands, supporting SSI‑EEB motherboards and offering massive expandability with 11 PCIe slots.
Thermal management in the Pro 2 Server V2 is exceptional. It is designed to accommodate large cooling solutions, including 480mm and 360mm radiators. Furthermore, users benefit from support for up to 15 total fans, strategically positioned to ensure targeted airflow directly over crucial components like the CPU and GPU zones.
For storage needs, the case provides ample room, supporting everything from up to 10 HDDs to an impressive 11 SSDs, making it an ideal foundation for complex data centers or intensive workstation setups. This dedication to capacity pairs perfectly with its high-performance cooling architecture.
Phanteks also introduced the Enthoo Elite Server, designed for configurations that require even greater flexibility. While maintaining a high level of thermal capability, the Elite Server offers enhanced versatility by supporting both E‑ATX and SSI‑EEB motherboards simultaneously.
The Elite model is built to handle complex dual-configuration setups, easily accommodating dual power supply units and multi‑GPU setups through 12 available PCIe slots. To maximize cooling potential, the Elite Server supports up to a staggering 29 fans, ensuring that even the most demanding systems operate at peak efficiency.
Adding another layer of convenience, the Enthoo Elite Server features integrated wheels, allowing users to effortlessly reposition the rig wherever they need it, enhancing accessibility in busy workspaces.
Both new models are available immediately, providing market options for different needs. The high-performance Enthoo Pro 2 Server V2 is priced at £199.90, positioning it as a strong entry point into premium server chassis. Meanwhile, the more expansive and flexible Enthoo Elite Server is available for £349.90.
