PS Plus Essential lineup announced for November
PlayStation Plus continues to prove itself as a vital subscription service, offering gamers a rotating selection of titles to expand their libraries. As we look ahead to the penultimate month of 2026, the console maker is delivering a stellar lineup, promising some truly epic adventures to keep players engaged.
For those who subscribe to PlayStation Plus Essential or higher tiers, the upcoming monthly selection is already generating buzz. Starting November 3rd, players will have access to a trio of high-octane games designed to test skill and provide unforgettable experiences: Dead Island 2, the expanded collection of Tomb Raider IV – VI Remastered, and the action-packed Monster Train 2.
The roster for this month blends gritty survival horror with classic action-adventure, showcasing the breadth of content available to the subscriber base. Each monthly drop is a strategic choice, curated to offer a mix of intense gameplay and beloved franchises.
Among the featured titles, Dead Island 2 stands out as a compelling entry. Brought to life by Dambuster Studios, this game arrived in 2023 after a lengthy development period, and while its critical reception was varied, its unique F.L.E.S.H. system successfully elevated the zombie narrative, turning the genre into something intensely gruesome and memorable.
Meanwhile, the action-packed legacy of Lara Croft is getting a major update. The Tomb Raider IV – VI Remastered collection offers fans a comprehensive look at the Darkness trilogy. This package not only features stunning, updated visuals but also gives players the choice to experience the games either in their modern remastered state or in their original polygonal presentation, allowing for a true appreciation of the evolution of the franchise.
This remastered collection is a perfect way to round out any classic Lara Croft fan’s library, offering decades of adventure in one place. These monthly offerings ensure that whether you are diving into post-apocalyptic chaos, mastering a classic adventure, or engaging in high-speed action, your PlayStation Plus experience remains fresh and full of excitement.
