PS Plus Extra Premium games revealed for October 2026
PlayStation is gearing up to deliver a stellar month of gaming content, announcing the new batch of titles joining the PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium catalogues for October. This update promises a tantalizing mix of massive first-party releases, beloved indies, and returning fan favorites, ensuring subscribers have plenty of high-quality entertainment ahead.
At the heart of this month’s additions are two heavyweight contenders. First up is Mafia: The Old Country, a cinematic experience set in the gritty, atmospheric landscape of 1900s Sicily. Players will follow Enzo Favara as he navigates the treacherous rise through the ranks of the Mafia Family, steeped in tales of early organized crime, period weaponry, and turn-of-the-century motorcars.
Adding further depth to the catalogue is Horizon Forbidden West, allowing subscribers to dive back into Aloy’s critically acclaimed adventure across both the PS5 and PS4. Fans can continue the epic journey in this stunning open world, exploring breathtaking landscapes and facing formidable threats.
The PlayStation Plus Extra tier is packed with diverse experiences, offering a roster that appeals to a wide range of tastes. Beyond the cinematic giants, subscribers can explore titles like Mycopunk, adding a dose of unique style, and the spooky excitement of Poppy Playtime: Chapter 2, bringing familiar horror and mystery to the service. Other must-play additions include The Midnight Walk and the expansive adventure of Tales of Arise, available in the Beyond the Dawn Edition.
For those opting for the Premium tier, the focus shifts slightly toward classic gaming experiences. PlayStation Plus Premium subscribers will gain access to two exceptional retro titles: Dino Crisis 2 and the beloved simulation classic, RollerCoaster Tycoon 3 Complete Edition. These additions provide a fantastic opportunity for nostalgic gaming sessions.
With titles spanning historical crime sagas, massive open worlds, and nostalgic classics, the October update confirms PlayStation Plus as a robust destination for gamers looking to expand their library and enjoy a diverse range of entertainment.
