Razer Huntsman V3 Pro Mini brings 8KHz performance
Razer is dialing up the performance game again, expanding its elite Huntsman line with a refreshingly compact option. The newly introduced Huntsman V3 Pro Mini 8KHz board brings cutting-edge analog optical technology into a smaller footprint, proving that extreme gaming performance doesn’t require sprawling desk space.
At the heart of this new design is Razer’s Analog Optical Switches Gen-2. These switches redefine tactile feedback, offering an incredibly precise actuation range spanning from 0.1mm to 4.0mm. This system promises true 0.1mm precision for every keystroke, backed by a remarkable 100-million-keystroke lifespan. To ensure a superior typing experience, each switch is individually lubricated and set within a sound-dampening foam layer, ensuring a smooth and satisfying feel.
But the true spectacle lies in the speed. The Huntsman V3 Pro Mini 8KHz pushes performance boundaries with its 8000Hz HyperPolling mode. This setting delivers an astonishingly low latency of just 0.48ms, operating eight times faster than traditional 1000Hz keyboards, giving competitive gamers an undeniable edge in reaction time.
Beyond raw speed, the board is packed with sophisticated input control features. It supports Razer’s full Advanced Input Control suite, allowing users to fine-tune their experience through features like Snap Flex, Snap Tap, Dynamic Keystroke, and Dual‑Keypress Priority. Users can precisely adjust actuation height and Rapid Trigger sensitivity directly from the number row, allowing them to save up to six custom profiles for quick switching.
For those who prefer a minimalist setup, the 60% layout of the Huntsman V3 Mini offers a compelling proposition. While not for everyone, this compact design appeals particularly to competitive players who prioritize spatial efficiency without sacrificing high-end functionality.
The Huntsman V3 Pro Mini 8KHz is now available for purchase directly through the Razer store. It is priced competitively at £179.99, $179.99, or €189.99, making this high-performance compact keyboard a serious contender for the modern enthusiast.
