Radeon RX 9060 XT 16GB Review: The Budget Card That Isn't Short on Memory
8/10 — AMD Radeon RX 9060 XT 16GB (2025)
Pros
- Generous 16GB of memory
- Strong value
- Good at 1080p and 1440p
Cons
- The 8GB version shares the name
- NVIDIA leads on features
The Radeon RX 9060 XT launched on 5 June 2025 in an 8GB version at $299 and a 16GB version at $349, both with GDDR6 memory. This review covers the 16GB version.
What works
It is named in 2026 guides as the best 1080p and 1440p value pick, and 16GB at this price is generous.
Where it falters
As with NVIDIA’s 5060 Ti, the 8GB version carries the same name and is the one to avoid.
Verdict
A great budget and mid-range card, as long as you pick the 16GB version.
