GeForce RTX 5060 Ti 16GB Review: The Memory Version Is the One to Buy
7.5/10 — NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 Ti 16GB (2025)
Pros
- 16GB gives real headroom
- Full NVIDIA feature set
- Reasonable launch price
Cons
- Confusing 8GB and 16GB versions
- Not cheap for mid-range
The GeForce RTX 5060 Ti launched on 16 April 2025 in two versions: an 8GB model at $379 and a 16GB model at $429, both with GDDR7. This review covers the 16GB version.
What works
The extra memory gives it room at 1440p that the 8GB version lacks, and it keeps the full NVIDIA feature set at a reasonable price.
Where it falters
At $429 it is not cheap for a mid-range card, and the 8GB version, with the same name, is a trap for the unwary.
Verdict
A sensible mid-range buy, but only the 16GB version.
