SanDisk launches high-endurance NAS SSDs

The NAS 600 SATA SSD is positioned as the ideal upgrade path for those integrating solid-state technology into hybrid NAS systems. This option is perfect for users looking to replace older Hard Disk Drives or add solid-state caching, offering a balance of performance and stability. With endurance ratings reaching up to 2500TBW on the 4TB model, these drives provide robust longevity. The 2.5-inch SATA form factor allows them to fit neatly into standard NAS bays, contributing to quieter operation and noticeably more responsive performance for collaborative work.
Moving into the realm of high-demand, all-flash deployments, the NAS 800 NVMe SSD is built for serious performance enthusiasts. This drive leverages the power of PCIe 5.0, delivering blistering speeds and incredible endurance necessary for heavy computational tasks. The 7.68TB model boasts endurance ratings up to 14PBW. Performance benchmarks are exceptional, achieving up to 14,900MB/s sequential read speeds and 13,200MB/s write speeds, alongside random read and write IOPS up to 2.3M/2M.
Designed in the compact M.2 2280 form factor, the NAS 800 NVMe SSD provides the raw speed and resilience required for demanding environments, while the 600 SATA model offers a practical, endurance-focused solution for expanding existing systems. Both lines offer capacities ranging from several hundred gigabytes up to 7.68TB.
SanDisk will make these high-endurance NAS SSDs available starting this September through SanDisk.com and select retailers. While pricing details are pending confirmation in the UK, US pricing has been set at a competitive entry point, starting at $179.99 for the 500GB NAS 600 SATA SSD and $309.99 for the 960GB NAS 800 NVMe SSD.
