Steam Machine owners can now 3D print a custom e-ink faceplate using Valve’s GitHub files

Valve has thrown open the doors to its experimental Steam Machine e-ink faceplate project, releasing the complete set of files and assembly documentation. This move transforms a conceptual hardware idea into a tangible DIY challenge, empowering enthusiasts with 3D printers to build, program, and install this custom accessory from the ground up.

Following the launch of the Steam Machine, which introduced a modular front panel design, this e-ink faceplate aims to add a layer of unique personalization to the console experience.
