TCL expands display lineup with 27X3B and 32X3B WOLED displays

TCL Unleashes Next-Gen OLED Gaming Monitors with Revolutionary 4th Gen WOLED Technology

Gaming enthusiasts and display aficionados are getting a serious upgrade. TCL has just dropped a stunning new lineup of OLED gaming monitors, the 27X3B and 32X3B, built upon the foundation of their cutting-edge 4th Gen WOLED panels. This expansion signals a major push by TCL to deliver unparalleled visual fidelity, pushing the boundaries of what high-refresh-rate displays can achieve.

At the heart of this technological leap is the new panel generation, which doesn’t just offer brighter images; it fundamentally improves the viewing experience. The 4th Gen WOLED technology delivers superior peak brightness, dramatically enhancing text legibility and incorporating advanced anti-reflective properties that eliminate distracting glare.

The specifications alone are game-changing. The smaller 27X3B is engineered for pure speed, boasting a lightning-fast 280Hz refresh rate coupled with QHD resolution, making it an absolute powerhouse for competitive gaming. Meanwhile, the larger 32X3B offers flexibility to every gamer: it supports dual-mode operation, allowing users to seamlessly switch between UHD at a smooth 240Hz or FHD at an incredibly responsive 480Hz.

Beyond refresh rates, the panel technology addresses every visual metric. TCL’s displays can reach an impressive peak HDR brightness of up to 1500 nits, ensuring that even the deepest shadows and brightest explosions pop off the screen. This performance is paired with a blistering response time of just 0.03ms GTG, guaranteeing razor-sharp motion without any tearing or ghosting.

To manage reflections, these monitors leverage circular polarisation technology, which reduces panel reflectivity to an astounding 1.1%. This commitment to clarity means the image quality is pristine, whether you are in a dark room or dealing with bright ambient light.

Immersion is further enhanced through seamless audio integration. Both the 27X3B and 32X3B models feature integrated speakers co-tuned with Bang & Olufsen, bringing rich, cinematic sound directly from the display. Connectivity options are also robust and varied. The 27X3B offers two HDMI 2.1 ports, a DP 1.4 port, and a 3.5mm audio jack. The more versatile 32X3B includes two HDMI 2.1 ports, a DP 2.1 port, a USB-C 90W port, dual USB-A (KVM) ports, and a 3.5mm audio jack.

Ergonomics are kept simple yet effective, with both models featuring a tilt-adjustable stand, allowing users to fine-tune their viewing angle for ultimate comfort.

As for pricing, the initial market debut in China sets an accessible tone for these high-end displays. The 27-inch model launches at 4999 yuan (approximately £556), and the spacious 32-inch edition is priced at 7999 yuan (approximately £890). While global availability and international pricing strategies are yet to be finalized, TCL has clearly set a high bar for next-generation gaming displays.
