Thermalright adds display air coolers to Royal Pretor line
The world of PC cooling has just received a serious visual upgrade. Thermalright has stepped into the arena by expanding its lineup with the introduction of the Royal Pretor 130 Vision and Royal Pretor 130 Digital air coolers, proving that cutting-edge performance no longer needs to be hidden behind silent fan curves.
These new titans are built on a clever premise: taking the high-performance foundation of the existing Royal Pretor 130 design and adding an integrated display. This innovation allows users not only to monitor their hardware in real-time but also to customize their cooling experience with stunning visuals.
The feature stars the Royal Pretor 130 Vision, which brings a touch of flair to thermal management. This model sports a vibrant 3.95-inch, 480×480 LCD screen mounted right on top of the heatsink. This display isn’t just for aesthetics; it connects via an internal USB 2.0 header and Thermalright software, allowing users to display system metrics, custom wallpapers, GIFs, and animations directly, turning a functional component into a customizable piece of hardware.
For those who prefer pure, unadulterated data, the Royal Pretor 130 Digital offers a focused approach. This cooler features a dedicated monitoring display that strips away the visual clutter to focus solely on essential, real-time data: CPU temperature, package power consumption (W), clock frequency (MHz), and memory usage percentage.
While the user interface differs, both coolers share a powerful mechanical core. They utilize the same physical hardware blueprint, featuring a robust 130x140x165mm dual-tower heatsink. This structure is supported by six 6mm nickel-plated copper heatpipes and a high-performance nickel-plated C1100 copper base, ensuring exceptional heat transfer.
Under the hood, both models rely on meticulously engineered airflow. They are equipped with a powerful 120mm TL-H12W-X28-R9 PWM fan capable of spinning up to 2400RPM and moving 98.2CFM of air, complemented by a central 130mm TL-HD13W-X28 PWM fan that achieves 81.88CFM. Both fans are further enhanced by durable S-FDB V2 bearings for longevity and quiet operation.
From a compatibility standpoint, these new air coolers are designed to fit a wide spectrum of systems, spanning Intel sockets like LGA115X, 1200, 1700, 1851, 2011, and 2066, as well as AMD platforms including AM4 and AM5. Thermalright is offering these exciting variants in both black and white finishes, promising a visually engaging and highly functional way to cool your rig.
