MSI Vixta 300R PZ series floating base design

PC builders, prepare to upgrade your vision. MSI has just dropped a new collection of mid-tower cases designed not just for aesthetics, but for serious thermal and structural performance: the MPG Vixta 300R PZ and the MPG Vixta 300R Airflow PZ.

These new chassis are built around a core philosophy of optimized airflow and modern connectivity. Both models share groundbreaking features like back-connect motherboard compatibility and an innovative floating base design, setting a new standard for internal component management.

The MPG Vixta 300R PZ takes a sleek, contemporary approach, featuring a seamless L-shaped, fully tempered glass panel that showcases the components within. This model emphasizes cooling right from the start with its floating base design, which creates 75mm of vital intake space at the bottom of the case to maximize airflow.

Inside the Vixta 300R PZ, performance fans are included out of the box: two large 140mm ARGB side fans and a quieter 120mm ARGB rear fan. Hardware support is extensive, accommodating standard ATX, Micro-ATX, and Mini-ITX motherboards, plus back-connect options for ATX and Micro-ATX form factors. This setup provides plenty of room for ambitious builds, allowing for GPUs up to 420mm long, CPU coolers up to 165mm tall, and PSUs up to 190mm long.

For those who prefer an unrestricted, high-performance aesthetic, the MPG Vixta 300R Airflow PZ offers an alternative. This model trades the curved glass for an open mesh front panel, letting maximum air freely enter the system. It utilizes an EZ-Snap front panel design that powers two large 160mm front ARGB fans wirelessly via pogo pins, complemented by a single 120mm rear fan.

While prioritizing openness, the Airflow PZ still delivers robust thermal capabilities. It supports liquid cooling solutions, allowing radiators up to 360mm on top and 240mm on the side. Although the front design necessitates a slight adjustment for component length, maximum GPU support is still excellent, reaching up to 390mm.

Beyond the thermal prowess, both cases are packed with intelligent utility features. They offer generous 35mm of cable routing space behind the motherboard tray, tool-free panels, and a magnetic PSU shroud for a clean look. Internal organization is simplified by an adjustable GPU holder and a comprehensive 1-to-4 ARGB and PWM control board.

Connectivity is also thoughtfully addressed with front panel I/O featuring a USB 20Gbps Type-C port, two USB 5Gbps Type-A ports, and a combined audio jack. With overall dimensions measuring 455x235x497mm, the MPG Vixta 300R series delivers exceptional internal space, ensuring that whether you choose glass or mesh, your components will have the breathing room they deserve.
