Phanteks unveils new XT chassis models M5, V5, and V5-LCD

Phanteks has just dropped a fresh set of compact ATX chassis into the market, expanding its popular XT lineup with three brand-new models: the XT M5, the XT V5, and the visually striking XT V5-LCD. Unveiled at Computex 2026, these cases prove that you don’t have to sacrifice cooling capacity or aesthetics just because you want a smaller footprint.

The core promise of this expansion is packing serious performance into a small desktop space. All three new models are engineered to support standard 360mm radiators and ATX power supplies while maintaining a sleek, compact design. Further enhancing their versatility, every model features an integrated GPU support bracket and high-speed USB 3.2 Gen2x2 Type-C port on the front I/O.

Phanteks has baked cooling straight into these designs. Out of the box, users receive a substantial cooling solution, including a single 120mm rear fan paired with an impressive 360mm single-frame S25 ARGB fan assembly. Crucially, all models allow for top-mounted 360mm radiators, giving builders maximum flexibility in thermal management.

The three new chassis offer distinct design philosophies, catering to different builder preferences. The XT M5 is built purely for raw airflow. It boasts a mesh front panel and is designed to handle up to ten 120mm fans, making it an absolute powerhouse for thermal performance.

For those who prioritize aesthetics while still demanding excellent cooling, the XT V5 offers a dramatic shift. It swaps the mesh for clear glass front and side panels, allowing off-the-shelf beauty to shine. This design choice shifts the fan configuration, mounting the cooling unit at the bottom to focus cooling directly on the GPU, supporting seven 120mm fans.

Bringing an entirely new layer of customization is the XT V5-LCD. This iteration builds upon the stylish V5 framework by integrating a built-in 7-inch display, which users can personalize using the Nexlinq app for seamless Windows integration.
