Stop selling this useless Apple product now
I decided back in 2012 that the iPad was going to be more than just another gadget; it was going to be an essential piece of technology for my daily life. That commitment quickly turned into a long-term relationship with Apple, culminating in owning not just one, but two iPad Airs.
Keeping the second device was perhaps the most surprising part of that journey. I held onto it for so long that it eventually found its way into the hands of my son—a delightful hand-me-down from a parent to a child several years later. It certainly wasn’t the trajectory I had envisioned when I first stepped out of the Apple Store, but technology often has a knack for bending our plans in unexpected, and wonderfully sentimental, ways.
It’s a perfect reminder that sometimes the best stories aren’t about the specifications or the latest releases, but about the unplanned connections we make with our devices over time.
