Xbox Game Pass July line-up officially revealed

In the whirlwind of corporate restructuring and studio shifts, Microsoft is navigating some significant internal changes, including the separation from several Xbox studios and the reduction of over 3000 employees. Yet, amidst this corporate activity, the gaming console maker appears to be keeping the momentum alive, delivering fresh content to its massive Xbox Game Pass service.

While business operations shift behind the scenes, the focus remains firmly on the games themselves. Microsoft recently unveiled a substantial lineup of titles slated to join the Game Pass catalog in the coming weeks, offering gamers new worlds to explore. This selection, announced via the Xbox Wire blog, signals that despite internal turbulence, the pipeline for gaming content remains robust.

The initial wave of additions details several unique experiences dropping onto the service between now and the third week of July. Fans can look forward to titles such as Gears of War: Reloaded, the quirky experience Tamashika, the challenging adventure Ascend to Zero, and sports-focused entertainment like PBA Pro Bowling 2026.

The additions also bring diverse flavors to the service, including creative gems like The Planet Crafter and unique handheld adventures such as Mavrix by Matt Jones and FixForce. Even classic sports nostalgia is included with Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2.

However, the Game Pass roster is constantly evolving, and this time, some titles are making their exit from the service. A selection of games, including Stellaris, Dungeons of Hinterberg, Shadow of the Tomb Raider Definitive Edition, and several others like Golf With Your Friends and Techtonica, will be departing from Game Pass as of July 15th.

This constant flux—adding exciting new experiences while cycling older titles out—creates a dynamic landscape for subscribers. While the overall offering for July presents a mixed bag, it demonstrates that the Xbox ecosystem remains committed to providing a diverse and ongoing stream of entertainment, regardless of the corporate backdrop.
