Corsair adds SKIFF keyboards and HARPOON v2 mouse to gaming range

Corsair is making a welcome splash in the peripheral market this week, expanding its entry-level gaming lineup with peripherals designed not just for intense gameplay, but for everyday productivity as well. The focus is squarely on bringing affordable gear to first-time PC gamers and users who need robust tools that seamlessly transition between work and play.

At the heart of this expansion are the new SKIFF series keyboards. These full-size membrane models maintain Corsair’s signature RGB aesthetic while introducing practical, thoughtful features. The basic SKIFF 100 models offer quiet membrane keys and a detachable soft-touch wrist rest, appealing to those who prioritize comfort without sacrificing functionality.

For users seeking more control, the SKIFF 100 PLUS keyboard introduces enhanced customization. It includes six programmable G-keys for macro access, a handy rotary dial for quick volume and media control, and ten zones of RGB lighting for personalized flair. Crucially, these keyboards are built to last; they boast an IP53 rating, meaning they can withstand dust and light spills, making them perfect for shared workspaces.

The design philosophy continues with attention to the user experience. These new models feature quiet membrane keys, a detachable wrist rest, and adjustable tilt legs, allowing users to fine-tune their setup for maximum ergonomic comfort.

Complementing the keyboards is the updated HARPOON v2 WIRELESS mouse, an evolution of Corsair’s asymmetric ergonomic design. This new model focuses heavily on precision and endurance, featuring the high-performance 26K MARKSMAN sensor for enhanced accuracy. It incorporates textured side grips and a built-in thumb rest, ensuring comfortable handling during long sessions.

Performance meets longevity with the HARPOON v2. The wireless mouse offers exceptional battery life, delivering up to 140 hours of use via 2.4GHz connection, or even up to 210 hours when connected via Bluetooth. With tri-mode connectivity—supporting 2.4GHz, Bluetooth, and USB-C—users have flexibility wherever they need it.

These new SKIFF keyboards and the HARPOON v2 mouse are set to hit shelves this week, available directly through the Corsair web store and select retailers. By offering durable, customizable, and highly efficient entry-level options, Corsair is successfully demonstrating that premium gaming technology doesn’t have to come with a premium price tag.
