Noctua finds 50% of PC cases have wrong CPU cooler clearance

The goal was simple: confirm that the dimensions listed by manufacturers truly matched the physical reality, ensuring that builders received accurate information for their small-space projects. This initiative underscored Noctua‘s commitment to providing genuine, verifiable data for its users.
The results of this extensive quality check revealed some interesting discrepancies. In their thorough testing of more than 100 popular cases, the team uncovered inaccuracies in 56 of those models. While not every case aligned perfectly with the listed figures, the findings highlight a persistent challenge in standardizing dimensions across the industry.
