Insiders suggest that this architectural shift goes beyond simple clock speed increases. At the heart of the improvements lies updated Collaborative Processors Performance Control (CPPC) mechanisms, coupled with new memory bandwidth enforcement tools. Essentially, AMD is giving the system a much smarter way to manage power and resources across the entire chip.
The magic starts with CPPC Performance Priority, which allows the operating system and CPU firmware to independently manage the performance of each individual core.
