MW4 Beta includes Campaign Multiplayer and Warzone
Get ready for the biggest Call of Duty beta test in franchise history. Activision has just confirmed that the upcoming Modern Warfare 4 beta will shatter previous expectations by offering players unprecedented access to the entire ecosystem: campaign, multiplayer, and Warzone.
For years, beta tests have been limited, often focusing solely on testing new maps or modes without introducing major story content or large-scale modes. However, this year marks a monumental shift. In a recent announcement, Activision confirmed that players will finally be able to experience all three core aspects of the game—the campaign, multiplayer, and Warzone—during the testing window for Modern Warfare 4.
This means that when you dive into the early access period, you won’t just be testing new gameplay mechanics; you’ll be engaging with massive amounts of freshly developed content. The expanded experience begins with campaign material, including a mission titled Entrenched, giving players a narrative hook right from the start.
The multiplayer landscape is also set to see significant expansion. Players will have access to five brand-new 6v6 multiplayer maps and a diverse range of modes. Favorites like Team Deathmatch, Domination, and Hardpoint will be alongside exciting new additions such as Inflation and Kill Block. Furthermore, the testing period introduces dynamic variations like 10v10 and 3v3 variants for Kill Block, plus a brand-new Mobility Course mode designed to highlight the game’s improved movement system.
The scope doesn’t end there. The Warzone experience is equally rich. Beta testers will gain access to Zodiac, a fresh Warzone Resurgence map, alongside additional multiplayer maps and the exciting return of Ground War featuring two large-scale locations. All these modes, combined with traditional multiplayer playlists and campaign missions, will be available across the testing window.
In essence, this beta promises to be the most content-rich experience yet for Call of Duty. It allows players to test the core mechanics while simultaneously exploring a vast library of new maps, modes, and narrative missions, ensuring that everyone gets to see how Modern Warfare 4 is shaping up.
