Acer has just dropped a fascinating collection of gaming hardware, signaling a new era for portable performance. At IFA 2026, the company unveiled the smaller Predator Atlas 7 handheld, immediately following the introduction of its larger sibling, the Predator Atlas 8, drawing attention to Acer’s continued push into cutting-edge handheld gaming.
While the Atlas 8 steps up the performance ladder, the Atlas 7 brings the power closer to the user with a compact 7-inch, 1080p display. Despite its smaller footprint, the Atlas 7 retains the high-end engineering ethos of its larger counterpart, featuring a robust dual-fan cooling system that includes a signature AeroBlade metal fan alongside a plastic fan for optimal thermal management.
Under the hood, both handhelds are built around powerful Intel Arc graphics, featuring either the Arc G3 or the more potent Arc G3 Extreme SoC. These systems are paired with substantial memory and storage, allowing users to handle demanding titles with ease. The Atlas 7 offers up to 24GB of LPDDR5X-7467 memory and support for up to 1TB of PCIe 4.0 storage.

The handhelds are equipped with dual Thunderbolt 4 ports, Wi-Fi 7, and Bluetooth 5.4, ensuring lightning-fast data transfer and seamless wireless connectivity.
