Alphacool reveals highly-serviceable Core 2 XT AIO coolers

The Future of Cooling: Alphacool Introduces a Revolution in Serviceable AIOs

When it comes to high-performance computing, thermal management isn’t just a necessity—it’s the backbone of incredible speed and stability. But for many enthusiasts, the pursuit of ultimate cooling often comes with a trade-off: complex systems that are difficult to maintain. Enter Alphacool, which is challenging the status quo by launching the Core 2 XT CPU AIO series, bringing a new philosophy to liquid cooling: unparalleled performance paired with genuine longevity.

This new lineup isn’t just about cooling; it’s about building for the long haul. Alphacool has integrated custom liquid-cooling components into a sleek All-In-One (AIO) design, making high-end thermal solutions more accessible and, crucially, more repairable. The goal here is simple: to create a system where enthusiasts can service, refill, and replace parts over time rather than discarding the entire unit.

Under the hood, the Core 2 XT cooling loop is engineered for maximum efficiency. It features a CPU block housed in aluminum, complete with integrated ARGB lighting, which remains thermally isolated from the coolant. Powering the flow is a Core DC-LT 3 PWM pump, capable of spinning up to 3800RPM to push coolant through flexible TPV tubing.

The heat dissipation mechanism is where the series truly shines. The coolers utilize a NexXxoS HPE all-copper radiator structure, ensuring superb heat transfer. This is paired with Apex Stealth metal fans, which are designed not just for airflow but for endurance. These fans feature ARGB lighting, operate up to 2600RPM, and deliver a solid maximum airflow of 59.79CFM at 3.35mmH2O.

To accommodate a wide range of builds, the Core 2 XT series is available in four distinct radiator sizes: 240mm, 280mm, 360mm, and the flagship 420mm. All utilize the robust NexXxoS ST30 HPE radiator structure.

The fan configurations scale perfectly with these sizes. For smaller systems, the 240mm model uses dual 120mm Apex Stealth fans, while the 280mm version integrates two 140mm fans. For larger, uncompromising setups, the 360mm model features three 120mm fans, and the massive 420mm flagship utilizes three 140mm fans.

This focus on modularity means users get the benefit of top-tier thermal performance without sacrificing long-term ownership. By borrowing components directly from Alphacool’s custom water-cooling catalogue, the Core 2 XT series embodies a right-to-repair approach. This design philosophy positions these coolers as a true investment, offering a longevity edge that standard sealed AIOs simply cannot match.

With prices starting at €249.98, the Core 2 XT series is not just a cooling upgrade; it is a commitment to sustainable, high-performance hardware that is built to last.
