There are countless cautionary tales circulating online, making the instinct to lock down systems with strict safeguards entirely understandable.

Recently, this tension boiled down to a simple, yet ambitious, experiment. The goal was to test the limits of what a large language model could accomplish when given unrestricted access to a physical computing environment.
The setup involved a Raspberry Pi, a small but mighty central hub, augmented with two external storage drives. To truly stress-test the system’s resilience and the AI’s execution capacity, the experimenter decided to grant the AI free access, including full sudo access.
