DOOM meets Black Ops 7’s final season The Haunting

The countdown is on for the grand finale of Call of Duty: Black Ops 7. Treyarch is wrapping up the live-service support for the game with a final, unforgettable season, and it’s themed with a chilling twist: Season 6, The Haunting.

Set to launch on September 17th, this final season promises a massive injection of fresh content across the entire franchise, culminating in a much-anticipated Halloween-themed update. Fans can expect a deluge of additions spanning multiplayer mayhem, engaging Endgame challenges, and deeply expanded Zombies experiences.

For the core multiplayer experience, the season introduces plenty of new ammunition and customization. Players will dive into four entirely new weapons, along with three new attachments, adding fresh tactical depth. Furthermore, the excitement extends to the cosmetic side, with 45 new weapon camos ready to decorate the arsenal.

The multiplayer landscape is also getting a major shake-up with new maps, including the highly anticipated Quantum map and a new Haunting-themed variant of Bloodstead. To keep the action flowing, the season also brings several limited-time modes, such as T.E.D.D. Trials LTM, Hordepoint LTM, and Freeze Tag LTM, challenging players to master new dynamics.

Endgame players are set for a spooky journey with new additions to the Avalon night map variant and a brand new World Event titled The Forbidden Summoning, promising new lore and epic objectives.

But perhaps the most thrilling element for dedicated Zombies enthusiasts is the deep expansion of the survival mode. New content includes the survival map Tenshu, the intense Rex Infernus Directed Mode, and the Starting Room challenge. Rogue Run mode also gets a significant boost with new upgrades, rewards, maps, and a festive Halloween reskin.

To really capture the spirit of the season, players will also have access to a Super Easter Egg—a rewarding challenge that requires completing all previous maps’ quests—alongside the concurrent release of a new battle pass and fresh Warzone updates, including the Haunted Hollow.

With all these additions, The Haunting is poised to be one of the most substantial final seasons in the franchise, ensuring that the Call of Duty experience remains rich, varied, and utterly haunting as we head into the fall.
