Multi-color 3D printing offers a dazzling array of possibilities, but when you start mixing filaments, things quickly get complicated—and unexpectedly wasteful. For many hobbyists and professionals diving into the world of multicolor printing, the realization hits hard: every time a filament swap occurs, plastic is inevitably pushed somewhere, often piling up as ‘purge’ waste.
