The surprise announcement dropped during Gamescom Opening Night Live, signaling that the intricate world of Assassination is ready for some unexpected flavor. This latest assignment, titled the ‘Herbalist’ mission, has Agent 47 hunting down the elusive Snoop Dogg.
Mark your calendars: this mission will be live on the 27th of August. The objective puts Agent 47 in pursuit of Dr. Cyrus Cane, an eccentric entrepreneur whose latest venture involves the release of something far more coveted than a simple heist: Morsizzles cookies.
This new challenge is woven into a larger narrative known as the ‘Season of the Herbalist,’ promising a rich mix of new and returning content for players. For those who want to dive deeper into this theme, IO Interactive has also released a paid Herbalist Pack for £6.99, offering additional Snoop Dogg related content.
However, the hunt for the legendary rapper doesn’t have to end right away. Even if you decide not to purchase the premium pack, the opportunity to eliminate Dr. Cane remains open for all until September 26th, giving players plenty of time to explore and master the environment.
